Hey! Long time, no see! I apologize for the massive hiatus since my last post here. I’ve just been feeling uninspired lately and I took a break. But! My Facebook Memories app just informed me that it has been one year since I posted my first entry here!

What better time to look back on the past year and reflect a little bit?

What began as a method to facilitate conversation about MS between my friends and I, has blossomed into a network of amazing people from all over the world and additional opportunities to get my message of positivity out.

Since starting this little blog one year ago, I’ve also been a contributing writer for the NMSS blog on a monthly basis since this past February. Being a familiar “face” there has helped to expand my audience here greatly. I’ve maintained three different social media platforms and I’m looking to launch a YouTube channel shortly. It’s Only a Bruise was also featured on local news this past spring (and during a sports segment, at that!).  I’ve received beautiful comments and emails from some of you that keep me feeling uplifted as my subscribership continues to grow.

Thank you for making IOaB what it has become. It’s been just as helpful for me as I hope it is for you.

Some of you may recall a quick and easy survey that I’d put out a few months back–I’ve revamped it a little bit and, even if you’ve already taken it, I’d like to hear from you.
